# Simplo

> Simplo is a web app that runs social media for founders who ship every week but post once a month, and for small-business owners who do their own posting. It reads the website to learn what they sell, who buys it and how they talk, writes a week of posts in that voice, makes pictures with the brand's own logo and product photos, and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok. The week can be approved in the app or from Claude, Codex or Cursor over MCP. Nothing is published until the owner approves the week, schedules a post or presses "Post now".

## What it does

- Brand profile: paste a website URL (or describe the business in a few sentences) and Simplo builds a profile of products, audience, tone of voice, colours and style. Free and unlimited.
- Post ideas and captions: ask for ideas and get a hook, a full caption, hashtags and a picture idea; ask for changes in plain words.
- Fill the week: one click writes a week of posts, each placed on its day as a draft.
- Approve the week: one click (or one request from an AI assistant) schedules every draft in the week at its time.
- Download the week: a zip of the planned posts (pictures and captions) for posting by hand or through another scheduler.
- Pictures: images generated with Google Gemini (Nano Banana 2), using the business's logo and its own product photos; or upload a photo.
- Carousels: multi-slide posts with real typography, rendered from the brand's fonts and colours.
- Write once, post everywhere: adapt a post for another platform (caption rewritten, picture re-cropped) before it goes.
- Calendar: drag and drop to reschedule, or post right now. Failed publishes are retried.
- Analytics: live numbers from the connected accounts.
- Learns style from use: the ideas kept, captions edited, pictures saved and posting times. It can also study an existing Instagram feed so new pictures match its look.
- Up to 3 brands per account on Growth (1 on Solo), each with its own profile, pictures, connected accounts and calendar.

## Platforms

Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok, each connected through the platform's own sign-in. Pictures and videos go to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, with videos posted to Instagram as Reels. On X, Simplo posts text and pictures.

## Approval

Everything Simplo writes is saved as a draft. A post goes out only when the owner schedules it, approves its week or presses "Post now", and a scheduled post can be unscheduled until the moment it goes out. When used from an AI assistant over MCP, scheduling and publishing tools require explicit confirmation.

## Pricing (USD, before tax)

- Free trial: 3 days, 75 credits, every feature, no credit card, no charge when it ends.
- Solo plan: $19 a month. 300 credits every month. 1 brand.
- Growth plan: $39 a month, or $348 a year ($29 a month). 500 credits every month. Up to 3 brands.
- Every feature is on both plans; they differ in brands and credits.
- Post a week or your money back: on monthly and yearly plans, if you don't get a week of posts out in your first 14 days of paying, you get a full refund. Yearly payments, renewals included, can also be refunded within 14 days. Cancel anytime.
- What costs credits: post ideas 1 credit per topic, a change in chat 1 credit per message, an image 5 credits, "Fill the week" 5 credits for the whole week of posts. The brand profile, writing your own posts and the calendar are free.
- Top-up packs that never expire: Starter pack, 100 credits for $7.99; Boost pack, 300 for $21.99; Power pack, 700 for $49.99. Plan credits are used first.

## MCP server (use Simplo from an AI assistant)

Simplo has a remote MCP server at https://api.getsimplo.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 sign-in, no API key). It works with Claude (web, desktop and mobile), Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and VS Code. Tools: list_projects, get_brand, list_accounts, get_credits, generate_caption_ideas, generate_image, create_carousel, list_posts, get_post, create_post, update_post, delete_post, schedule_post, approve_week, publish_post, download_week, create_reel, create_upload_link (a single-use link an assistant sends a local video or picture to with curl, or, with forPerson, hands to the user, who drops the file on the page it opens; the uploadId then goes to create_post), get_upload.

- "Make a carousel with five tips for first-time home brewers."
- "What's scheduled for next week?"
- "Approve next week's drafts."

## REST API

Simplo has a REST API at https://api.getsimplo.ai/v1 for scripts, CI and automation tools. Authenticate with an API key created in the app under Settings → API keys, sent as "Authorization: Bearer smp_live_…"; a key acts for the whole account. It lists projects and connected accounts, generates captions, images and carousels in the brand's voice (these cost credits), and creates, schedules and publishes posts to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. X is not available through the API yet. Creating a post or a carousel and publishing take an Idempotency-Key header, so a retry never posts twice.
