This one is made from gold that already had a life before it came to my bench. I melt it down, pour it, and shape the band by hand, so each ring ends up a little different from the last.
I like photographing it while someone is just pouring tea or turning a page. That is how these are meant to be worn, every day, until they start to look like part of you.

Every piece I make is meant to be worn daily, and a few habits help it last for years.
Take your rings off before swimming, cleaning, or using lotion. Wipe them with a soft cloth when you get home. When they're not on your hand, keep them in a small pouch so the silver doesn't scratch.
If a piece ever needs a polish or a resize, send it back to me and I'll take care of it.
