Come with hair that's a day or two unwashed, since your natural oils protect your scalp. Bring a few photos of what you love, and a couple of what you don't. If you've colored your hair at home in the last year, tell us, even if it was a box dye you'd rather forget. We've seen it all and it helps us plan.
